Maple Syrup

Maple Syrup is so good with pancakes and want you to make more pancakes

Ingredients

• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/2 cups hot water
• 1 teaspoon maple extract
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method

1. Combine the sugar, honey and water in a large sauce pan over medium-heat. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to medium-low and continue to simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Then stir in the maple and vanilla extract. Serve over pancakes or allow to cool and then place in jars.
3. Store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 1-2 months.
